Soziale Innovationen entstehen durch ungewöhnliche Vorgehensweisen. Das Format "Experimenta Distrito" ("Experimentiere Bezirk") aus dem munizipalistischen Madrid experimentiert milieuübergreifend und soll Inspiration für Berlin sein. Die Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT im ehemaligen Haus der Statistik erprobt das Format in einem zweitägigen Workshop für neue ZUsammenKÜNFTE. Zweiter Teil: Samstag 13.10. von 10:00 – 12:00 Uhr (s.u.).

Die „Recht auf Stadt“-Bewegung in Berlin ist professionell, fallbezogen effizient und langfristig mit Reformprozessen auf hohem Niveau beschäftigt. Parallel sind häufig das Quartiersmanagement und freie Träger für die Entwicklung sozialer Räume zuständig und versuchen die Mitsprache der Bevölkerung vor Ort zu organisieren. Doch über die Milieus hinweg gibt es wenige Möglichkeiten zum freien Experimentieren. Wie also lassen sich soziale Innovationen und neue ZUsammenKÜNFTE provozieren?

Das Format "Experimenta Distrito" (Experimentiere Bezirk!) aus dem munizipalistischen Madrid geht als Projektinitiative der hybriden Kultureinrichtung Medialab Prado in Kooperation mit den Bezirken neue Wege: Heterogene Teams, aus Jugendlichen, Senioren, Familien, Experten und Amateuren, erhalten materielle, räumliche und intellektuelle Infrastruktur, um Prototypen für ihre Ideen zu entwickeln.

Als Fortsetzung der innerhalb der Initiative Haus der Statistik entstandenen Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT soll das Format „Experimenta Distrito“ auf dem Areal des Hauses der Statistik angewandt werden. Wie könnte ein solches Format als Teil des ab September 2018 laufenden integrativen Werkstattverfahrens zur Entwicklung des Hauses der Statistik aussehen? Oder wäre der Aufbau eines berlinweiten Netzwerks von Produktionshäusern für experimentelle Kollaborationen eine mögliche Lösung?

Mit Marcos García vom Projekt "Experimenta Distrito" und Berliner Alliierten - von der Bibliothek über Stadt- und Nachbarschaftsinitiativen bis hin zum Theaterhaus Hebbel am Ufer - wird ein solches Format erprobt und perspektivisch ein Projekt für die nächsten Jahre initiiert. Der Workshop beginnt ganztägig am Samstag, den 6.10.2018 ab 10 Uhr in der Werkstatt im ehemaligen Haus der Statistik. Es werden zunächst die Grundlagen des Formats gemeinsam mit institutionell verorteten Macher*innen aus Madrid und Berlin analysiert. Im zweiten Schritt werden ab 13 Uhr Arbeitsgruppen gebildet, die innerhalb der Festival-Woche mit einer gegebenen Infrastruktur Ideen zu Prototypen des Zusammenlebens und der Kooperation entwickeln. Am zweiten Workshop-Termin, am Samstag, den 13.10.2018, präsentieren die Arbeitsgruppen von 10 - 13 Uhr ihre entwickelten Prototypen und damit verknüpfte Utopien. Eine Ausstellung der Prototypen im Werkstatt-Pavillon des Haus der Statistik ist geplant.

Trial and development of new forms of experimental cooperation in Berlin

Social innovations are the result of unusual approaches. The format "Experimenta Distrito" ("Experimental District") from municipalist Madrid experiments across milieus and is intended to be an inspiration for Berlin. The Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT in the former Haus der Statistik is testing the format in a 2-day workshop for new ZUsammenKUNFT (future meetings).

The "Right to a City" movement in Berlin is professionally, efficiently and long-term engaged in reform processes at a high level. At the same time, neighbourhood management and independent organisations are often responsible for the development of social spaces while trying to organise the local population's voice. But beyond these milieus there are few opportunities for free experimentation. So how can we provoke social innovations and new future meetings (ZUsammenKÜNFTE)?
The format "Experimenta Distrito" (Experimental District!) from municipalist Madrid is a progressive project initiative of the hybrid cultural institution Medialab Prado in cooperation with districts: heterogeneous teams of young people, seniors, families, experts and amateurs receive material, spatial and intellectual infrastructure to develop prototypes for their ideas.

As a continuation of the Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT, the "Experimenta Distrito" format is meant to be applied to the area of the House of Statistics. What could such a format look like as part of the integrative workshop procedure for the development of the House of Statistics that will start in September 2018? Or would the establishment of a Berlin-wide network of production houses for experimental collaborations be a possible solution?

With Marcos García from the "Experimenta Distrito" project and Berlin allies - from the library to city and neighbourhood initiatives to the Hebbel am Ufer Theaterhaus - such a format will be tested and a project for the next few years initiated in perspective.

The full-day workshop will start on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10 AM in the workshop in front of the former Haus der Statistik. First the basics of the format will be analysed together with institutionally located makers from Madrid and Berlin. In a second step, work groups will be formed from 1 PM onwards to develop ideas for prototypes of coexistence and cooperation within the festival week in a given infrastructure. In the second workshop on Saturday, October 13, 2018, the work groups will present their prototypes and associated utopias from 10 AM to 1 PM. An exhibition of the prototypes in the workshop pavilion of the Haus der Statistik is planned.
